A MASTERPIECE, this musical drama on Disney, based on the life of P.T. Barnum is sensational, phenomenal, inspirational, enchanting, electrifying, magical, alluring, exhilarating, upbeat, uplifting…it is mind blowing and captivating to watch! The icing on the cake – the music! THE MUSIC guys!
Loved ‘em all from start to finish! One that made me shed a tear is THIS IS ME! That song hits different as it speaks to me personally!
Loved the drive, determination, doggedness of Phineas ‘P.T Barnum’ (played by Hugh Jackman). With his optimism and high level of confidence in his dreams, he doesn’t take NO for an answer! Oh he sees negative criticisms as a positive stepping stone! That was deeply inspiring!
With many beautiful lines and great lessons to learn especially one about relationships and commitment even in the midst of a career pursuit, I appreciate how much Phineas loved his wife Charity (portrayed by Michelle Williams). Not very many men would have been able to handle Jenny Lind (played by Rebecca Ferguson) the way Phineas did!
The role interpretation, delivery or performance from ALL THE ACTORS here was superb; my best being Zendaya’s. She’s simply adorable. Love her
If you haven’t seen this and you’re a fan of musicals like myself, then I’m pleased to tell you you won’t regret adding this to your watchlist. It’s an impeccable piece to watch with kids. Depicting romance without necessarily showcasing an exchange of saliva as with most movies is the highlight in this film for me. Language is also very kids-friendly!
Can’t express enough how much I enjoyed this! It was fast paced and an easy-watch! With an impressive runtime of 1hour 45minutes, you can barely take your eyes off your screen from start to finish.
Although there are a few flaws like injury details where a person’s scar from burns suddenly disappears soon after they’re out of hospital and skin back to default like nothing ever happened, it however is an amazing watch.
Kudos to the entire cast and crew for this awesome piece of scrumptious deliciousness! Loved it!
